Draft Flood Risk Management Plans
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Regulations 15, 16, 17 and 18 of the European Communities (Assessment and Management of Flood Risks) Regulations 2010, S.I. No 122 of 2010, as amended by the European Communities (Assessment and Management of Flood Risks) (Amendment) Regulations 2015, S.I. No. 495 of 2015; and Article 13 of the European Communities (Environmental Assessment of Certain Plans and Programmes) Regulations 2004, S.I. No 435 of 2004; that we, the Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland, having prepared draft Flood Risk Management Plans and related Environmental Assessments for the South Eastern (Units of Management 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 17), and North Western - NeaghBann (Units of Management 01, 06, and 36) River Basin Districts, under the terms of said Regulations, have sent a copy of the draft Plans and related Environmental Assessments to all relevant county and city councils for exhibition in their principal offices.
A copy of these draft Flood Risk Management Plans and related Environmental Assessments will be available for inspection by any person, claiming to be interested therein, from Friday, 19th August 2016 to Friday 28th October 2016 both dates inclusive, during normal opening hours at the principal offices of the relevant county and city councils.
The draft plans, environmental assessments and related final maps are also available for inspection online at: www.opw.ie/FloodPlans
Observationsor comments in regard to said draft plans and environmental assessments for the South Eastern and North Western - Neagh Bann River Basin Districts may be sent in writing by post to the Commissioners of Public Works no later than 5.30pm on Friday 28th October 2016 at:
