Fairtrade Awareness at Ballinamore Community School
Students participated in an interactive class workshop and discussion on what fairtrade means and why we should support producers signed up to fairtrade. 1st year students entered a poster competition following the theme of fairtrade and to conclude fairtrade fortnight the home economics department hosted a healthy fairtrade breakfast in the canteen to promote fairtrade produce available in local shops and the winners of the poster competition were announced.
